South Carolina Unclaimed Powerball Tickets are Expiring

State lottery officials in South Carolina are sounding the alarm to players because time is running out for lucky ticket holders to claim their winnings! Three Powerball tickets, sold back in October 2023, are at stake because not been claimed yet. These ticket prizes range from $1 million to $50,000.

South Carolina Unclaimed Powerball Tickets are Expiring

$50,000 Ticket: A $50,000 ticket was Purchased at a Refuel store on Daniel Island for the October 7th drawing. The ticket matches all five white ball numbers but missed the Powerball. October 07 Powerball winning numbers were; 47-54-57-60-65 and Red Ball number 19. The Power Play option was 3x. It was that drawing in which the Powerball jackpot has been continually climbing and reached over $1 billion but no winner. In the South Carolina Education Lottery, winners have 180 days to claim their prize after the drawing date so this winning ticket will expire on Thursday, April 4th.

$50,000 Ticket: Another a worth $50,000 Powerball ticket was purchased in October. This lucky ticket was bought for the October 9th drawing from Quick Pantry in Greenwood. This lucky ticket also successfully matched all five white balls but not the Powerball. Monday, October 9 winning numbers are 16, 34, 46, 55, and 67 and the Powerball is 14 with an estimated jackpot of $1.56 Billion.

$1 Million Ticket: Sold at the Turbeville Exxon on Myrtle Beach Highway in Clarendon County. This winning ticket was for the October 14th drawing and matched 14, 16, 42, 48, 64 but missed the Powerball 14.

South Carolina Education Lottery officials urge players to check their tickets carefully. Claim your prize before it slips away! Winners must visit the Columbia Claims Center in person before 4:00 p.m., or if mailing their claim, ensure the envelope is postmarked by the expiration date. Otherwise, unclaimed winnings will be deposited into the Education Lottery Account, supporting educational programs in South Carolina.
